Victorious Valley Homes

The ministry seems to be going through many changes lately.  We’ve had a lack of help in some areas.  Mrs. Susan is now cooking and Bro. Johnny has taken the boys’ home.  As far as the kitchen is concerned it has been a real blessing.  The girls’ home is now in there helping Mrs. Susan prepare the meals and having fun in the process!  It reminds us of how it was over in Duncan when the home was started in the old farm house.  Everyone is enjoying the fellowship, singing, and laughing as we cut potatoes and make homemade bread pudding and old fashion stickies.

Bro. Johnny is feeling his age keeping up with those teen age boys on the basketball court.  Those guys are great to work with.  We just thank God for the privilege to be able to do what we can for the Lord and these kids.  We know God gives the strength to do what we are called upon to do and He will never give more than we can handle.  The help that God has given us here is so much like a family.  We all pull together and that gets the job done.  We praise the Lord for each person He has sent here to help us reach these young people with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is purely and simply an honor to be a part of Victorious Valley Homes.  We thank God that He allows us to be a part of this great work.  Please pray for all the help that God would strengthen us all and give us a servant’s heart.

Thank you for giving to the Lord through Victorious Valley.  We thank you for your prayers and support.  We ask God to richly bless each of you.

God is doing great things here at Victorious Valley.  There has also been a terrible attack from Satan.  We praise God that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.  It is a “good fight of faith,” not a bad one.  Pray for us here at the homes that we will remain constant with our whole armor on--Satan doesn't want to see this work continue.  For seventeen years now god has been

building a work here, and we desire to remain faithful here until Jesus comes.  And what a day, glorious day that will be.  But until then my heart will go on singing and with His help we will serve our Saviour, for He is worthy.  Thank you so much for your prayers.

The Six Mile water district is working with us to get our water tower up and going.  This has been a long

wait, but it is finally being accomplished.  We have had a lot of trouble with the water supply in the dining hall that also houses our laundry room.  If you have the washers running, there is no water in the kitchen, but that should be taken care of with this new system up and running.  The lack of water has caused our commercial dishwasher to break on us three times, so we decided to stop using it before we completely tore it up.  We are so excited to be able to get it up and running again.  This project will cost the home approximately $10,000.00.  They have to put pipe from the commercial well up to the water tower.  Please help us pray this will get done without problems, and pray for God to provide!
