Victorious Valley Homes
It’s time again to write and let all of you know the blessings from the Lord to Victorious Valley Homes. Our Lord continues to do great things. We have had some to drop our support due to this sad economy, but God continues to prove Himself faithful to the work He started almost 19 years ago. We can’t praise Him enough for how He comes through every time—but we’ve never seen Him do anything less!!
Each month as we read the Proverbs, God reminds us of His promise in Proverbs 8:21, “That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.” This is our “One Million Dollar Promise.” Without a doubt I know that God gave that verse to me for the building of the church and the paying of the debt of the home.
The times we are now living in here in America are looking pretty sad. We are losing so many Christian liberties. We are trying to be careful how we handle ourselves so as to keep the home running; we seek God for His wisdom and beg you to pray for us as we do so. Our main goal or vision is to see Victorious Valley out of debt by the end of 2010 and to see the church being built. Satan, of course, has worked hard to see this vision not come to pass, but we know with God all things are possible.
As I had my morning time with the Lord, my Bible opened to Isaiah 44 and I looked down and saw these words of promise in verses 2 and 3: “This saith the Lord that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee: Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.” My heart leaped at that moment over His precious promises. And, yes, He is the first and the last and beside Him there is no God—AMEN!! (v 6b) In verse 8 it says, “Fear ye not, neither be afraid.” What an honour to be able to give your life to a Saviour and God like ours. There is none other I’d want to work for!
For years we’ve worked on the water system here at the home, but last month with the help of Six Mile Water System, it is finally up and running! This has been such a blessing. Those men at Six Mile gave so much of their time to see it happen. We want to thank each of them, and also Mr. Jim Anthony for donating the tank. God continues to take such good care of us here—Thank You Lord!!
GIRLS’ AND BOYS’ HOME
Our Graduation Jubilee went great—all of our graduates are going on to college starting in the fall, except one, Sarah Prather who is staying with us to help with the girls. It is always such a blessing to see the ones who have went through the home staying on to help.
Again we want to try to express to each of you how thankful we are for your faithful support of prayers and finances to Victorious Valley Homes. God has blessed us so much.
